The old mill village
Lawndale grew up around the old Cleveland Mill on the First Broad River, and some of the small frame houses from that era are still lived in today. Those roofs have been redone more than once, and sometimes the decking shows it.
We tear off down to the boards. If one's soft, we show you before we replace it. No surprises on the bill.
Trees, shade and moss
A lot of Lawndale homes are tucked in under hardwoods and pines. Shaded roofs stay damp longer, and leaves pack into valleys and gutters. That's where we see shingles wear out first.
When we measure, we look at valleys, drip edge and attic vents, so the new roof drains and breathes like it should.
